ચિત્રોમાં જેવા રંગો પુરીએ એવું નીખરે,
બહુ રૂપિયાથી રંગાયેલો માણસ બહુરૂપીયો જ નીકળે,
ઈર્ષા ધર્મચારનો નાશ કરે, કામ લજ્જાનો,
ક્રોધ લક્ષ્મીનો અને અભિમાન સર્વસ્વ નો નાશ કરે.
ENGLISH MEANING
Think about who is more dangerous:
someone who is hungry for money or
someone who is hungry for food.
Hunger for food renders a person powerless,
whereas hunger for money renders a person ruthless.
The individual depicted as having excess wealth
turns out to be multifaceted, just as colours fill paintings.
